I'm writing this latest update after a very tiring day, teaching at Nutana, attending a media conference on behalf of the film at TCU Place, and back to Nutana to teach in the afternoon. When I got home I went straight to bed for a couple of hours, got up and started corresponding with people and then spent fifteen minutes talking about Season of Dreams on a radio program in Yorkton with a good friend Scott Fitzimmons. I then drafted a letter for high school coaches that I need to send out in the next couple of days.
A couple of weeks ago I met with Hugh Vassos, Kim Gallucci, and Ron Graham (Graham Construction), along with his son Jeff to discuss the potential of the Graham's coming on board to help financially with the World Premiere at TCU Place. We're ecstatic to announce that the Graham's generously offered to sponsor our premiere. Thank you Ron & Jane Graham for your continued passion and dedication towards football in this fine province.
We changed the date from November 10th to November 12th as it is a holiday and there were too many potential conflicts with playoff football games. First and foremost we want the people associated with football to be at this event. The starting time is 6:30 PM and it will be shown on a huge 20X40 foot screen in the main auditorium. After the showing there will be a Producers and Legends Reception where you can meet the football greats.
We have a terrific website up and running as of today (seasonofdreams.com). Terry Ouellette and his wife Theressa Wright worked tirelessly to get it going for us. Thanks Terry and Theressa! If you go to the website check out our three minute trailer and show it to your friends.
