Season of Dreams is a feature-length documentary that explores Saskatchewan's love affair with football using the 2006 season as a backdrop.
The film takes a unique behind-the-scenes look at a rural six-man high school football team, the Hague Panthers, and an urban twelve-man high school team, the Holy Cross Crusaders, as they prepare and ultimately play out their own 'season of dreams.'
Threaded throughout the film are compelling exclusive interviews with Saskatchewan football legends such as George Reed, Ron Lancaster, Ron Atchison, Gord Currie and Roger Aldag. Several well known sports broadcasters such as Glen Suitor, Chris Cuthbert, Brian Williams, Chris Walby, and Steve Armitage are also featured.

TSN is broadcasting a shortened version of Season of Dreams on October 19th, 24th and 29th.

I hope this letter finds you well. If you're anything like me fall is one of the busiest times of the year. I love it for a variety of reasons; the changing colours on the leaves, school starting up and of course football. I've been extremely busy working on our second film Run but I'll save that for later. First things first- I have some exciting news. Season of Dreams will be broadcast on TSN three times in the next couple of weeks. Actually, our Season of Dreams movie has been slightly altered for television, okay that's a lie, it's been dramatically shortened. We needed it to fit into a one hour time slot therefore the new version of Season of Dreams looks more like an infomercial at 47 minutes and ten seconds.
Season of Dreams is a 2 disc set. The first disc has the full length documentary (two hours and twenty minutes long) as well as the producers commentary. The second disc has deleted scenes with producers commentary, extended interviews, exclusive footage of the Hague Panthers year end banquet plus the music of Season of Dreams.
