Wow what a build up to the premiere! This is such an awesome event and I truly believe that when you set out a few years ago with the vision of this movie, you truly believed in it! It takes Faith Focus and Effort for anything to be successful and you obviously have those in spades.
Cheers,

Thanks Tom,
I really appreciate your contributions in getting a 10 minute clip of
your awesome movie ready for me for the Canadian Bowl. It sent chills
through all my players and made us all proud to be from Saskatchewan. It
helped set the tone for the big win against the Cougars ! You helped to
make a difference.

Hi Tom,
I am a 1999 Hague High Grad and U of S alumni, now living in BC. I had no idea this film was being made and I must say, you two have brought tears to my eyes. What a great film. You really have hit it on the mark how much pride we have for where we come from and how important football is to us, even as women. Thank you for choosing Hague as one of the schools in focus...Mr. Kirby is an amazing teacher and coach (he coached my Sr. girls basketball team) and his contribution to our school will be remembered even after he is gone. I remember how excited we were to get a high school football team, the girls came together to form a "cheerleading squad" overnight because we wanted to support our boys in their first season. It really is funny how deep this sport is embedded into our culture and we "flatlanders" approach it with such emotion - I have never seen so many people get so involved with a team as I have with the riders and Huskies in Sk... I remember I cried watching the Huskies play in the Vanier Cup in Saskatoon last year, and I couldn't be there - especially since my good friend Dan Houle was wearing the green and black. I am so proud of where I come from and the teams that we have in saskatchewan. So thanks again, and although I can't be there for the premiere, I will be looking to purchase this film. Congratulations on your accomplishment, and thanks again for acknowledging the heart, talent, and passion that can be found in Saskatchewan, even in small towns of 600!

Hello Michelle,
Good to hear from you. I have no roots in Saskatchewan but I have a good friend from Ontario who now lives in BC. I heard from him over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and he has been telling me to move to Canada to teach and coach (I'm a high school teacher and coach). I just started last weekending looking at football and Canada on the internet. I found a story in some newspaper in Saskatchewan about "Season of Dreams". Googled the films title and found your website. I saw the trailer and thus I order the film. I think it looks like a wonderful film. I don't know much about Canadian football other than as I kid I did go the Baltimore MD to see a few games when the CFL had teams in the US. I like the 12 man game, and my father played 6 man, so the film looked like it could help me understand my fathers own rural upbringing. Guess you could say I'm a football geek, even a sports geek. I hope this answers your question. I look forward to seeing the film, and I'd be happy to share what I think if you want. Have a lovely day, and thank you for the help.
