Hi Tom,
Tim Switzer here from the Leader-Post. We met briefly before the Huskies
game on the weekend if you don't remember.
Just wanted to drop you a note and say how fantastic the trailer is for the
film. If the film is as good as that (which I'm sure it is) I think you've
got something pretty special on your hands.
As big as a sports fan as I am, I am probably a bigger movie buff and Season
of Dreams has the feeling of a film that crosses over to reach anyone. It's
not just sports fans or people in Saskatchewan that will love it, it will
touch just about anyone from any walk of life.
I want to mention the film and link to the Web site on my blog and talk a
bit about it in a column sometime soon too if that's cool with you.
Take care and hope to talk to you (and see the film) soon.
Cheers, Tim
Hey Tom,
I just watched the Season of Dreams trailer. Tears of emotion and pride are welling up in my eyes. For me this will be the movie to see this year. The only unfortunate thing I would say at this point is that it appears as if you are marketing it for people in Saskatchewan. This documentary looks as if it can surpass any provincial or national border and apppeal to and inspire any lover of football.
Excellent, excellent job!!!
Cheers, Conrad Hildebrandt
Hi there,
I just stumbled across the link to your film about football in Saskatchewan (on the FootballSask website) and have been enthralled reading through your news updates from the past couple years. Having played, coached, and loved football in Saskatchewan most of my life, I was amazed to hear about the project. I coached in Clavet in the 90's and in Kelliher (from 2001 to 2005) and was lucky enough to still be around to watch Kelliher capture their second consecutive title against Hague (in a rematch of the 2005 final!). What a great game!
Before I digress too much, I was just wondering about availablility of this movie. Will it be available at some point for purchase on DVD? I am now living in the States and miss the passion for football that is Saskatchewan. It is tough to follow the games (Riders, my old Cobras, and all of the other exciting teams) and this film seems amazing. Let me know. Thanks for your hard work on spotlighting the sport!

Tom,
I saw the trailer the other day and I was EXCITED! It gave me goose bumps. I can't wait to see the movie. Congrats on a job well done and I'd love to sit and hear some of your favorite moments in making the movie.

Hi Tom
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the movie last nite. The story lines are great and Chris did a fantastic job of filming. I think that it will appeal to a really broad audience and hope that you can get a ton of people to see it. I know that I am a little biased because my boys are in it, but football fans everywhere will just love how it portrays football in Sask. Thanks again for letting us in on the sneak preview.

Hey Tom,
Kevin Mitchell here at the StarPhoenix . . .
We were wondering if it would be possible to get an advance copy of the
movie to help with our coverage leading up to the premiere?
Fantastic job on the trailer, by the way - can't conceive of any way it
could have been better. Looks like you've got something special on your
hands.
